
Barrow Engineering acquired its first Okuma CNC in 1998. We have continued to purchase a new machine each year, resulting in the latest technology used during the manufacture of complex parts with multiple operations. Using only Okuma CNCs makes it easier for programming as well as the interchanging of tools between machines.
We have a range of machines, including three axis milling machines, and 2, 3, 4 and 9 axis lathes with robot loading arms. We are able to manufacture both simple and complicated items, in small and large quantities.

Over the past five years Barrow Engineering has not only invested heavily in CNC technology, but also in metrology, OH&S, quality assurance, CADCAM (the versatile NX Space Cam), and most importantly our committed and capable staff.
Our highly-skilled workforce is qualified to work in specialist areas. They continually improve their skills by attending internal and external training courses. Our dedicated Operations Manager ensures that our staff work effectively as a team and actively encourages their input into problem solving, decision making and the development of new ideas.
